Allison Simone Fontenot

BASILE-It is with the heaviest of hearts that the family of Allison Simone Fontenot of Kinder announces her passing on Monday, January 2, 2023, at the age of 41. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, January 07, 2023, at 11:00 am at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Basile with Father Brown, Celebrant.

Allison loved, enjoyed, and dedicated herself to her hairdresser career. She also enjoyed traveling, but most of all she loved spending time with her children and family. She leaves her loving memories to be cherished by her fiancé, Quentin Martin of Kinder; her children, Lee Austin Fontenot, Anna Claire Fontenot, and Avery Lane Martin, all of Kinder; her stepchildren, Quentin Martin, Jr. and Jhneiya Martin, both of Kinder; her siblings, Sara Elizabeth Fontenot of Kinder and Adam Fontenot of Basile; aunts and uncles, Lois Marcantel and husband, Jimmy, Lynne Howell and husband, Franklin, Bobby Joe Douget and wife, Mary, Deneen Ortego and husband, Corwin, all of Basile, Boyd Douget and wife, Jessica of Vidrine, and Vernita O’Pry of Monroe; as well as extended family and friends.

She is preceded by her parents, Clarence Jr. and Charlotte Douget Fontenot; aunts and uncles, Carl Lee Douget, Margaret and George Coleman, and Dorothy and Joe Douget.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Basile on Saturday, January 7th from 9:00 am until time of services. Catholic Daughters will recite a Rosary at 10:00 am on Saturday.
