EUNICE-Funeral services for Mr. Alphonse Kip Frey will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, July 31, 2006, at the Ardoins Funeral Home Chapel in Eunice. Rev. Woody Gunnels will officiate.

Mr. Frey, age 88 and a resident of Mowata, died on Friday, July 28, 2006, at 7:45 p.m. at the Opelousas General Health Systems. He was an Army Veteran and a retired rice and soybean farmer.

The visitation will begin on Sunday, July 30, 2006, from 3 p.m. until 10 p.m. and again on Monday, July 31, 2006, from 8 a.m. until time of services. Mr. Frey will be cremated following the services.

Survivors include his wife, Myrt Frey of Mowata; a son, Clint Frey and wife, Becky of Lafayette; a daughter, Jelaine Frey of Lafayette; a sister, Marie Frey Click of Lafayette; three grandchildren, Jeremy Frey, Donovan Frey, and Schana Richard; and two great-grandchildren.
