EUNICE-It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the loss of their loved one, Ann Lynn Young Morris on Thursday, November 28, 2019 at the Eunice Manor Nursing Home at the age of 89.  A Celebration of Life will be held at 3:00 pm on Sunday, December 01, 2019 at Ardoin’s Funeral Home Chapel in Eunice. Burial will follow in the Chataignier Baptist Cemetery with Pastor Travis Turner officiating.

Ann loved to fish and cook, and she was a talented musician who taught and played the piano. She was a member of the First Baptist Church and played the piano in the children’s Sunday school. In her early years, she was a practical nurse at the first Eunice Hospital, where she met the love of her life, Thomas Morris, Sr. She is survived by her son, Tommy Morris, Jr. and wife, Linda of Youngsville; daughter, Sarah Morris Pulling and husband, David of Eunice; brother, Roger Young and wife, Nettie of Eunice; three grandchildren, Johnnie Morris, Zachary Pulling, and Ann Pulling; and one great grandchild, Peyton Pulling; as well as extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Morris, Sr.; parents, Noah and Effie Smith Young; brothers, James, Burleigh, and Earl Young; and sisters, Isabelle Young Fontenot and Annetta Young Courtney.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoin's Funeral Home in Eunice on Sunday,  December 1st from 9:00am until time of services.
