EUNICEAugust Castille, born on February 04, 1949 in Lafayette, passed away on September 24, 2009 at Eunice Manor Nursing Home at the age of 60. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at St.Thomas More Catholic Church in Eunice on Friday, September 25, 2009 at 2:00 pm. Rite of Committal will follow in the St. Thomas More Cemetery with Father Austin Leger Celebrant.

August a former employee of G H Seed leaves behind a loving and grateful family including his wife, Jennifer Gale Castille of Eunice; his three sons, Mitchell Castille and August Castille, Jr both of Ville Platte, and Kevin Castille of Reddell; his one daughter, Melissa Pommier of Vidrine; his three step daughters, Donna Jordan of Gillis, Nancy Frey of Tioga and Jackie Stelly of Lake Charles; his five brothers, Isom Ike Castille of Ville Platte, Frank Castille, Jr of Melville, Horace Castille of Bayou Vista, Donald Joe Castille of Opelousas, and Vorice Red Castille of Lawtell, his two sisters, Gladys Vidrine of Lawtell and Mary Bolfa of Ville Platte; his godchild, Billie Jo Wedlock of Mamou; his first nephew, David Vidrine of Krotz Springs; his fifteen grandchildren, twelve step-grandchildren; his one great grandchild and his two step-great-grandchildren. August will be forever in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. He will be truly missed.

Now he rests in heaven with his beloved parents, Frank and Ida Stelly Castille, Sr, and a son, John Clay Kippy Castille.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home in Eunice on Thursday, September 24, 2009 from 4:00 pm until time of services on Friday. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm Thursday evening.
