EUNICE~ It is with heavy hearts that the family of Barbara Jean Bergeron Grafton announces her passing on Sunday, June 8, 2025, at her home at the age of 67. A Celebration of Life will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Friday, June 13, 2025, at the Ardoin’s Funeral Home Chapel in Eunice. Burial will follow in the St. Paul Cemetery with Deacon Gary Gaudin, officiating.
A passionate supporter of the LSU Tigers, she brought a spirited joy to every game day, filling the air with excitement and camaraderie. Her love for cross-stitching reflected her creativity and attention to detail, as each piece she crafted carried a bit of her heart. Barbara was not only a talented baker, always whipping up delightful treats that brought smiles to many faces, but she was also a devoted aunt who cherished the time spent with her nieces, especially Faith and Maddie. Their laughter and playtime together were among her greatest joys.
She will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved her especially her son, Tre’ Burch and girlfriend, Lauren Adams of Vicksburg, MS; her siblings, Gloria B. LeJeune and husband, Kirt of Eunice, Abbie B. Johnson and husband, Mark of Hammond, Ray Bergeron of Las Vegas, NV, Celida McDaniel and husband, Richard of Greenville, AL, Julius Bergeron and wife, Sandy of Leonville, and Andrew LeJeune and wife, Monica of Eunice; brother-in-law, Sean Oge’ of Eunice; ten nieces and nephews; as well as extended family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence “Brad” Grafton; her parents; and sister, Blanche Oge’.
At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoin’s Funeral Home in Eunice on Friday, June 13, 2025, from 9:00 am until time of services.
