Beulah LeJeune Berry

     IOTA-On a beautiful afternoon of June 07, 2023, a sweet and gentle mother, Beulah LeJeune Berry, passed away in the comfort of her home surrounded by her loving family at the age of 95. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:30 pm on Saturday, June 10, 2023, at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Iota. Entombment will follow in the St. Joseph Mausoleum, with Father Jude Thierry, Celebrant.

    Beulah was born in Iota on September 24, 1927, to Noah and Laura Young LeJeune, who preceded her in death. She was a beautiful person inside and out. She loved her mom and was always helping her, as well as her nieces and nephews. Everyone who knew her knew she was such a happy go lucky person who loved to wear her “bling bling,” have a good time, and was so enjoyable to be around. She will forever be in our hearts and missed very much every day by her daughter, Marjorie Lilly Guillory and her sister, Anna Ardoin, both of Eunice. She will also be missed by a host of nieces, nephews, and by every person who had the joy of knowing her.

    She is preceded in death by her husband, Hollis Berry; parents; brothers, Elroy, Perry, and Roland LeJeune; sisters, Helen Patin and Esther LeJeune and seven nieces and nephews.

    At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoin’s Funeral Home in Iota on Friday, June 9^th from 10:00 am until 8:00 pm, and again on Saturday, June 10^th from 8:00 am until time of services. A Rosary will be prayed at 6:00 pm on Friday.
