It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Blaine “Cupcake” Ike Soileau, a lifelong resident of Eunice, who passed away on Wednesday, July 8, 2026.
A visitation will be held at Ardoin’s Funeral Home in Eunice on Tuesday, July 14, 2026 from 2PM to 9PM with a rosary at 6PM prayed by Deacon Gary Gaudin and will continue on Wednesday, July 15 from 8AM until time of services. Funeral services will be held at Ardoin’s Funeral Home in Eunice on Wednesday at 10AM with Deacon Gary Gaudin officiating and a burial to follow at the St. Peters Cemetery in Pine Prairie.
Blaine was a free spirit who found joy in the great outdoors and lived life on his own terms. He loved hunting, fishing, and riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle, embracing every opportunity for adventure. Whether he was in the woods, on the water, or cruising the open road, Blaine found peace in doing what he loved. Above all, he treasured the time he spent with his family, creating memories that will be cherished forever.
He is survived by his loving parents, Emery and Jaslen Soileau; his son, Drake Soileau; his daughter, Katelyn Davidson and her husband, Alex; his beloved niece, Ashley Fontenot and husband, Coby; his children's mother, Tina Soileau; his brothers, Greg Soileau and his wife, Lisa, and Chuck Soileau; and his cherished grandchildren, Maverrick Blaine Davidson, Remi Tate Davidson, and Waylon Wayne Davidson.
He is also survived by his nephew, Seth Vasseur and his wife, Alicia; his niece, Meagen Anders; three great-nephews; one great-niece; his aunt, Verve Lafleur; his mother-in-law, Georgia Fontenot; along with numerous cousins, extended family members, and dear friends.
Blaine was preceded in death by his grandparents, Harry and Theresa Aymond and Emery and Lorita Soileau; by his uncles, Cliff Soileau and Irvin Lafleur; and his cousin, Blake Lafleur.
Though his time on earth was far too short, Blaine leaves behind a lifetime of treasured memories. His adventurous spirit, generous heart, and love for his family will continue to live on in the stories shared by those who knew him. He will be deeply missed but lovingly remembered by all whose lives he touched. May he rest in eternal peace.
