EUNICE-It is with heavy hearts that the family of Bobbie Taylor announces his passing on Sunday, December 27, 2015 at his home surrounded by his loved ones. A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at Ardoin's Funeral Home Chapel in Eunice. Interment will follow in the St. Paul Cemetery with Deacon David Guillory officiating.
Bobbie was a veteran of the United States Air Force where he worked in Intelligence. He was also a past owner, operator and manager of the Eunice Superette. Bobbie will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved him, especially his wife of 41 years, Bonnie Vidrine Taylor of Eunice; two sons, Jared "Chip" Taylor of Eunice, and Mark Vidrine of Texas; three daughters, Clair Taylor Deshotel of Eunice, Kim Vidrine King of Lafayette, and Janine Vidrine Milner and husband, James of Lake Charles; brother, Donald McManus; eleven grandchildren and six great grandchildren; two nieces and extended family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his son, Michael Vidrine; mother, Hazel Taylor; and brother, Richard "Skip" McManus.
At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoin's Funeral Home in Eunice on Monday, December 28th from 4:00 pm until 10:00 pm, and again on Tuesday, December 29th from 8:00 am until services. Deacon David Guillory will recite a Rosary at 7:00 pm Monday evening.
