Brenda Thibodeaux

BASILE- It is with heavy hearts that the family of Brenda G. Thibodeaux announces the loss of a very loving daughter, mother, sister, grandmother and friend, Brenda G. Thibodeaux on Friday, March 11, 2016 at her home in Basile. She was 53. A Celebration of Life will be held at 4:00 pm on Tuesday, March 15, 2016 at First Baptist Church in Basile with Pastor Dwayne Smith officiating.
Brenda will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved her especially her mother, Ethel J. Molitor of Basile; son, Jonathon Thibodeaux and wife, Kristy of Ville Platte; daughter, Jana Israel and husband, Benji of Mamou; brothers, Wesley Molitor, II and Allen Gokey, both of Basile; sisters, Cynthia Spears and husband, Kenneth and Catina Hebert and husband, Dwayne, all of Basile; six grandchildren, Ben, Allie and Hannah Beth Israel, all of Mamou, and Kaygun, Blayklee and A'nah Thibodeaux, all of Ville Platte. She is also survived by many nephews, nieces and extended family.
She is preceded in death by her father, Robert Gokey; step fathers, Wesley Molitor and Cedrick Fontenot; and step sister, Clara "Twiggy" Duhon.
