Burton Cormier

EUNICE - With heavy hearts, the family of Burton Gerard Cormier announces his passing on Saturday, June 25, 2022, at the Carpenter House in Lafayette at the age of 62. A Celebration of Life will be held at Ardoin’s Funeral Home Chapel in Eunice on Monday, June 27, 2022, at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow in the St. Lawrence Cemetery in Mowata with Father Mike Sucharski, SVD officiating.

Burton enjoyed playing Bingo, winning at Spades, and mowing his lawn. He was one of a kind and will be dearly missed by family and friends.

He is survived by his sister, Connie Cormier Diniz and husband, Paulo S. of New Orleans; his loving caretaker of many years, Rose Guillory of Eunice; and extended family and friends.

Burton is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Burton and Wilma Heinen Cormier.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoin’s Funeral Home in Eunice on Monday, June 27, 2022, from 9:00 AM until time of services.
