Carla L. Manuel

EUNICE~ It is with heavy hearts that the family of Carla L. Manuel announces her passing on Wednesday, June 18, 2025, at Savoy Medical Center in Mamou at the age of 63. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Friday, June 20, 2025, at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Eunice. Burial will follow in the St. Paul Cemetery with Father Hampton Davis, Celebrant.

Carla, born on September 23, 1961, in Crowley, LA, was a homemaker and dedicated herself to the care of her home. She was a Eunice High School football fan and enjoyed cooking and working in her yard.

Carla will be missed by all who knew and loved her, especially her husband of thirty-five years, Tim Manuel of Eunice; her brother, S.J. Manuel and wife, Linda of Mesquite, NV; her brother-in-law, Pat Manuel and wife, Debra of Eunice; nephews, Brett Manuel and wife, Kelly, and Ed Manuel, all of Eunice; as well as extended family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her father, J.C. Labbie, and her in-laws, Shelton and Pearl Manuell, Sr.

At the request of the family, a visitation will be held at Ardoin’s Funeral Home in Eunice on Thursday, June 19, 2025, from 3:00 pm until 9:00 pm, and again on Friday, June 20, 2025, from 8:00 am until time of services. Deacon Gary Gaudin will pray a rosary at 6:00 pm on Thursday.
