EUNICEA beloved father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend, Cecil Eugene Richard passed away on Thursday, April 22, 2010 at Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria at the age of 73. A Celebration of Life will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home Chapel in Eunice at 2:00 pm on Saturday, April 24, 2010. Rite of Committal will follow in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery with Pastor Tim Moffett officiating.

Cecile leaves behind a loving and grateful family including his two sons, Tracy Richard of Vidrine, Sam Richard and wife, Laurie of Basile his daughter Ronda David and husband, Blake of Eunice. He is also mourned by his seven grandchildren of whom he was very proud, Michael, Brandi, Jarrett, Steven, Jakob, Emily, Shelbi and his three great grandchildren, MyKaila, Alexsa, and Khloe. Cecil will be forever in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. He will be truly missed.

Now he rests in heaven with his beloved wife, Ruth Richard his parents, Martin and Maria Richard and his brothers, Samuel Comeaux and Sterling M. Richard.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home in Eunice on Friday, April 23rd from 2:30 pm until 10:00 pm and again on Saturday, April 24th from 8:00 am until time of services.
