Celeste Stroder

BASILE- In loving memory of Celeste Godeaux Stroder who passed away on Saturday, October 12, 2019 at her home at the age of 88.  A Celebration of Life will be celebrated at 4:00 pm on Sunday, October 13, 2019 at Ardoin's Funeral Home Chapel in Basile.  Burial will follow in Reed Cemetery with Pastor Mike Fontenot officiating.

Celeste was a homemaker, who was devoted to God and family.  She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved her.   She is survived by her two sons, Carl Stroder and wife, Fay of Lafayette and Ricky Stroder of Basile; four grandchildren, Ryan Stroder, Carrie Gilkey, April Woodrow and Samantha Godbold and seven great grandchildren, Justin Stroder, Joseph and Elianna Gilkey, Emily and Eva Woodrow, Nathan and Isaac Godbold.

She is preceded in death by her husband, George Stroder; son, Gary Stroder; five brothers and three sisters.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoin's Funeral Home in Basile on Sunday, October 13th from 1:00 pm until time of services.
