Claude Leonard
November 30, 1939 — February 20, 2014
BASILEIt is with heavy hearts that the family of Claude L. Leonard announces his passing on Thursday, February 20, 2014 at Savoy Medical Center in Mamou at the age of 74. A Memorial Service will be held at 6:00 pm on Monday, February 24, 2014 at the First Baptist Church in Basile with Pastor Dwayne Smith officiating.
Claude was a retired welder for Avondale Ship Yard but most of all he was a loving father, grandfather and friend. He will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved him especially his three sons, Claude James Leonard and wife, Sharon of Basile, Ricky Leonard and Robert Leonard and wife, Paula all of Eunice. He was blessed with six grandchildren and one great grandchild.
He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Alice Faye Thibodeaux Leonard.
