EUNICE-Funeral services for Mrs. Connie Miller will be held on Monday, July 17, 2006, at 11 a.m. at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Mowata. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Fr. George Heffner officiating.

Mrs. Miller, age 61 and a resident of Iota, died on Friday, July 14, 2006, at 2:15 p.m. at the American Legion Hospital in Crowley. Mrs. Miller was a weekly adorer in the adoration chapel at St. Lawrence Catholic Church where she was a faithful member. She was preceded in death by her husband, L.J. Miller, and two brothers, Alvin and Wallace Marcantel.

The visitation will begin held on Sunday, July 16, 2006, from 10 a.m. until 10 p.m. and again on Monday, July 17, 2006, from 8 a.m. until time of services. A rosary will be prayed Sunday evening at 7 p.m.

Survivors are her two sons, Chris Miller and wife, Doris of Iota, and Patrick Miller and wife, Tiffany of Crowley; one daughter, Felicia Lyons and husband, Marcy of Mowata; a sister, Anna Fruge and husband, Dwight of Pine Prairie; and six grandchildren; Andre, Samantha, and Olivia Lyons, Christine Miller, and Elise and John Patrick Miller.
