EUNICEIt is with heavy hearts and great sadness that the family announces the death of David Lane Hebert on Saturday, September 25, 2010 at University Medical Center in Lafayette at the age of 57. A Celebration of Life will be celebrated at 1:00 pm on Monday, September 27, 2010 at Ardoins Funeral Home Chapel in Eunice. Rite of committal will follow in the St. Thomas Chapel cemetery in Savoy with Deacon T. J. Richard officiating.

David was a derrick hand in the oilfield, but most importantly he was a beloved father, brother, grandfather and friend as well as an avid fisherman and loved to play pool and in his younger days he loved to bowl. David leaves behind his daughter, Mecah Fontenot and husband, Tony of Eunice his brother, Butch Hebert of Loreauville his sister, Sandie Hawkins of Mobile, Al and his two beautiful grandchildren, Anthony David and Lainey Aliece Fontenot. He will be greatly missed by everyone he touched.

He now rests in Heaven with his beloved parents, O.D. Hebert and Joyce Farrell and his stepmother, Winsome Hay Hebert.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home in Eunice on Sunday, September 26th from 10:00 am until 9:00 pm and again on Monday, September 27th from 8:00 am until time of services. A Rosary will be recited at 5:00 pm Sunday evening by Deacon Gary Gaudin.
