EUNICE ~ Deanna Thibodeaux, 83, passed away peacefully on April 16, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family. Her life was a testament to hard work, devotion, and the simple joys that meant the most to her. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Thomas More on Saturday, April 25, 2026, at 1:00 PM, with Father Sam Fontana officiating.
Dee was a proud business owner, sharing her passion for fashion through Tot n Teen Shoppe, Dee’s Fashions & Bridals, and LaVogue, where she helped generations of families celebrate life’s special moments. She found her greatest happiness in life’s quiet pleasures—losing herself in a good book and spending cherished time with her family at their camp on Old River. She will be remembered for her warmth, her strength, and the deep love she had for those closest to her.
Dee is survived by her husband of 61 years, Charles Thibodeaux; her daughters, Lisa Fuselier and husband, Todd of Arnaudville, LA, Michelle Robinson of Mandeville, LA, Nicole Thibodeaux and wife, Deborah Mire of Kaplan, LA, and Sandi Townsend of Baton Rouge, LA; her siblings, Brenda Lege of Kaplan, LA and Jackie Menard of Abbeville, LA; her grandchildren, Courtney Boss and husband Hall of Arnaudville, LA, Mitchell Fuselier and wife Molly of Portsmouth, RI, Brett Robinson of Mandeville, LA, Ashlee Robinson of Mandeville, LA, Parker Dennis of Lafayette, LA, Payton Charles of Lafayette, LA, Cameron Townsend of Baton Rouge, LA, Taylor Townsend of Baton Rouge, LA, Jacob Townsend of Baton Rouge, LA; and her great grandchildren, Mary-Katherine Boss, Brooks Boss, Ellis Boss, John Patrick Boss, Hattie Fuselier, and Georgia Fuselier.
She is preceded by her mother, Alice Landry Menard; her father, Lionel Joseph Menard; her brothers, Joe Menard and Rodney Menard; and her sister Charlene Langlinais.
