EUNICE ~It is with the heaviest hearts that the family of Debbie C. DeRouen announces her passing on Friday, April 16, 2021 at the age of 66. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:00 pm on Monday, April 26, 2021 at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Eunice. Entombment will follow in the St. Paul Mausoleum with Father Hampton Davis, Celebrant.

Debbie was a graduate of LSU and fervent Tiger fan.  Debbie was an active member of St. Anthony Catholic Church. She was a Eucharistic Minister, a member of the Catholic Daughters of Americas, the Teresian’s, and the ACTS Community. Debbie enjoyed traveling but most of all she loved her family and spending time with them was a great deal of joy to her. She will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved her especially her husband of 48 years, Mark DeRouen, Sr. of Eunice; her son, Mark DeRouen, Jr. and wife, Erica of Fulshear, TX; her daughters, April DeRouen of Eunice and Lauren Amacker and husband, Jason of Houston, TX; brother, Andrew Courville and wife, Darleen of Eunice; six grandchildren, Matthew DeRouen, Annabelle DeRouen, Katheryn “Kate” Amacker, Elliot Amacker, Ethan Amacker, and Michael Amacker; as well as extended family and numerous friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, George and Anna Aguillard Courville; brother, Charlie Courville; and sister, Gwen Maxfield.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Eunice on Monday, April 26th from 9:00 am until time of services.  Father  Hampton Davis  will recite a Rosary at 12:00 noon  on Monday.
