Our hearts are heavy as we have lost a devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend, Dianna Godeaux Texada in the comfort of her home surrounded by her loving family at the age of 59. A Mass will be Celebrated at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, November 25, 2015 at St. Thomas Chapel in Savoy with Father Wayne Duet officiating.

Dianna loved to be in her garden with her flowers. She was a very kind and loving woman and spending time with her family and friends brought a great deal of joy to her life. She was honored to have a good husband of thirty four years, David I. Texada of Swords; a loving mother, Rose Godeaux of Swords; two loving children, William James Texada of Orlando, FL and Dawn Michelle Texada of Swords; four loving brothers, Edward Andrepont of Ville Platte, Dewey Godeaux and wife, Kathy of Swords, Ray Allen Godeaux and wife, Cade of Point Blue and Roland Mayo "Rocky" Godeaux of Lafayette; five loving sisters, Anna Godeaux Darbonne and husband, Harry of Carencro, Catherine Godeaux Joubert and husband, Harold of Baton Rouge, Kathleen Godeaux Fontenot and husband, Carl Glenn "Joseph" of Swords, Dolores Godeaux Briley and husband, Rod of Grand Prairie and Stella Godeaux of Ragley; her two loving grandchildren, Thad David Bergeron and Avery Elise Bergeron both of Swords; as well as extended family and friends. She will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved her.

She is preceded in death by her father, Antoine Godeaux, Jr., three brothers, Gilbert, Terrell, and Ferrell Godeaux; a sister, Elizabeth "Liz" Godeaux; her paternal grandparents, Ben and Floertine Brown; paternal grandfather, Antoine Godeaux, Sr; maternal grandparents, Mayo and Annie LeDoux Corkins.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoin's Funeral Home in Eunice on Wednesday, November 25th from 9:00 am until time of services.
