Dolan Fontenot

BASILE~It's with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of Dolan Fontenot announces his passing on November 11, 2016 at Acadian Medical Center in Eunice with loving family by his side. He was 69. A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Basile at 10:00 am on Friday, November 25, 2016 with Father David Hebert officiating.

A proud veteran, Dolan served his country in the United States Coast Guard.

He is survived by his mother, Wilda LeJeune; his son, Jamie Fontenot; his daughter, Donna Guillory; his sister, Jackie Martin and husband, Leslie; three grandchildren and three great grandchildren; as well as extended family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Juanita Fontenot; his father, Harrison Fontenot; his step-father, Louis LeJeune; his brothers, Kermick Johnson and Ronnie LeJeune; and his sister, Theresa Pitre.
