EUNICE~It is with heavy hearts that the family of Dwight Young announces his passing on Friday, April 15, 2016 at Louisiana Veterans Home in Jennings at the age of 88. A Celebration of Life will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Monday, April 18, 2016 at Ardoin's Funeral Home in Eunice. Burial will follow in the Rougeau Cemetery with Deacon Chuck Ortego officiating.

Dwight proudly served his country in the United States Army in the Korean War. He was an artist, banker and he loved to travel but most of all he loved his family. He will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved his especially his brother, Errol Young of Lanse Meg; nieces, Elizabeth G. LeJeune and husband, Neil of Eunice and Gwendolyn Humbarger and husband, Douglas of Jennings as well as many friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Evarest and Vinna Rougeau Young.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoin's Funeral Home in Eunice on Sunday, April 17th from 4:00 pm until 9:00 pm and again on Monday, April 18th from 8:00 am until time of services. A Rosary will be recited at 6:00 pm Sunday evening.
