EUNICE~It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that the family of Edgar Ray White announce his passing on Thursday, July 16, 2015 at the age of 89. A Celebration of Life will be celebrated at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, July 21, 2015 at Ardoin's Funeral Home in Eunice. Entombment will follow in the St. Paul Mausoleum with Deacon David Guillory officiating.

Edgar, or "Ray" as he was called by family and friends served his country proudly in the United States Navy having served in World War II. He was retired from Union Texas Petroleum but most of all he was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend and will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved him especially his wife of fifty five years, Ludie Blanchard White of Eunice and his son, Lynsey Ray White and wife, Kay of Rowlett, TX; his eleven grandchildren, three great grandchildren and one great grandchild; as well as extended family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Lynzey and Elbe White; a brother, James Edward White; his first wife, Mildred Blair White.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoin's Funeral Home in Eunice on Tuesday, July 21st from 9:00 am until time of services.
