Edward Landry, Jr.

BASILEIt is with the heaviest hearts and great sadness that the sons of Edward Landry, Jr. announce the passing of their beloved father at Oaklane Wellness Rehabilitation Center in Eunice on Friday, June 28, 2013 at the age of 89. A graveside service will be held at 10:30 am on Saturday, June 29, 2013 at St. Augustine Mausoleum in Basile with Father David Hebert officiating.

Edward was a retired educator of the Evangeline Parish School Board and a avid sportsman, hunter, fisherman, and gardener. Most of all, he was a beloved father, grandfather, and friend and will be missed by everyone whose hearts he touched especially his two sons, James Myron Landry of Basile and Merlin Paul Landry and wife, Holly Brignac Landry of Scott, along with grandsons, Joshua Paul Landry and Christopher James Landry. He also leaves nephews, nieces, and friends.

He now rests in Heaven with his beloved wife, Mary Zoe Aguillard Landry parents, Edward and Abel Fournerat Landry, Sr brother, Amos James Johnson, Sr. and a sister, Annabelle Landry Langley.
