Memorial services for Mr. Eleno Antonio Gonzalez will be held at 10:45 a.m. on Tuesday, August 8, 2006, at the Ardoins Funeral Home Chapel in Eunice. Deacon David Guillory will officiate.

Mr. Gonzalez, age 72, died on Friday, August 4, 2006, at 6:50 p.m. at Evangeline Extended Care in Mamou, LA. He was a retired truck driver dispatcher. Mr. Gonzalez was preceded in death by his parents, Regino and Soledad Gonzalez and two brothers, Robert and Manuel Gonzalez.

The visitation will begin on Tuesday, August 8, 2006, at 8 a.m. until time of services.

Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Sandie Gonzalez of Eunice; a son, Luke Gonzalez of Eunice; four daughters, Elena Gonzalez of Eunice, Angela Reynolds of Bakers Field, Ca., Teresa Pease of Sun Valley, Ca., and Kimberly Albright of Little Rock, Ca.; two brothers, George Gonzalez of Pa., and Daniel Gonzalez of Blythe, Ca.; two sisters, Rosa Roque of Sun Valley, Ca., and Irene Thomas of Eunice; 13 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
There will also be another memorial service that will be held for Mr. Gonzalez at a later date in Sylmar, California at the St. Didicus Catholic Church
