BASILE~It is with great sadness that the family of Elizabeth "Till" Manuel announces her passing on Thursday, February 01, 2018 at Kinder Retirement and Rehabilitation Center at the age of 96. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 3:00 pm on Tuesday, February 06, 2018 at St. Paul Catholic Church in Elton. Burial will follow in the Liberty Cemetery in Elton with Father Jose Vittakunnell Celebrant.

Elizabeth known to many as "Till" worked as a hostess for the Ardoin's Funeral Home in Basile and retired from the high school cafeteria. She did beautiful work as a seamstress. Above all she was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, great and great great grandmother and friend who adored spending time with her family. She will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved her especially her grandson Tim Courville and wife, Stacey of Grand Lake; sister, Pearl LaFleur of Elton; three great grandchildren, Elisha and Trent Hebert and Caleb Courville; and five great great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Abel Manuel, daughter, Lena Fruge; granddaughter, Michelle Courville; parents, James and Cedonia Bertrand Langley; six siblings, Allie, Leston and Lawrence Langley, Ella Duplichan, Hazel Sonnier and Esther Young.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoin's Funeral Home in Basile on Tuesday, February 06, 2018 from 8:00 am until time of services. A Rosary will be held at 1:00 pm Tuesday led by St. Augustine Catholic Daughters.
