EUNICEIt is with heavy hearts and great sadness that the family of Ethel Tel Guillory announces her passing on Friday, June 25, 2010 at the St. Landry Extended Care Hospital in Opelousas surrounded by her loved ones. She was 91. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Anthonys Catholic Church in Eunice on Monday, June 28, 2010 at 10:00 am. Rite of Committal will follow in the St. Paul Cemetery with Father Faulk officiating.

She was a homemaker and a very down to earth woman who cared greatly for her loved ones. She was a prior member of the Ladies Auxillary of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, the Catholic Daughters of America, and also the Omega Group. Ethel leaves behind a loving and grateful family including her beloved sons, Charles A. Guillory and wife, Elaine and Kenneth Keno Guillory, all of Eunice one soninlaw, Jean Fontenot one brother, Charles Lear Comeaux and wife, Rose of Eunice one sisterinlaw, Joyce Comeaux of Eunice seven grandchildren, Debbie Fontenot Reaux, Judy Fontenot Young and husband, Phil, all of Eunice, Kim Guillory Manuel and husband, Neal of Lafayette, Karen Guillory LeJeune and husband, Bernard of Eunice, Jasper Guillory of Houston, TX, Jude Guillory and wife, Amy of Eunice, and Gerald Guillory and wife, Vanessa of Prairieville ten greatgrandchildren, Christopher LeJeune, Ben Young, Jonathan Reaux, Carolyn Young, Eric Manuel, Emily Manuel, Hillary Young, Drake LeJeune, Lesli Guillory, and Zachary Guillory. She will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved her.

Now she rests in Heaven with her beloved husband, Charles M. Guillory, Sr. parents, Oscar and Marie Aguillard Comeaux daughter, Ramona Mona Guillory Fontenot and several brothers and sisters.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home in Eunice on Sunday, June 27, 2010 from 10:00 am until 9:00 pm and again on Monday, June 28, 2010 from 8:00 am until time of Services. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm Sunday evening by Deacon Gary Gaudin.
