BASILE A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated Wednesday, November 7, 2007 at 2:00 pm at St. Augustine Catholic Church for Euta B. Young, 77, who passed away Sunday, November 4, 2007 at 7:20 pm in Lafayette General Medical Center. Rite of Committal will follow in the St. Augustine Cemetery with Fr. Bill Rogolla Celebrant.

A loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, and also a cashier for 30 years at Hebert I.G. and Rays Grocery, Mrs. Young is survived by one son, Madison Jim Young and wife, Dianne of Basile; two daughters, Sherry Young and financee, Craig Dupre Richie and Carolyn Bertrand of Basile; seven grandsons, Bill Young, Shane Darbonne, Scotty Darbonne, Jason Fruge, Jessie Fruge, David Holman, and Jeremy Fruge; eleven great-grandchildren, seventeen step grandchildren, thirty five step great-grandchildren, and nine step great great-grandchildren.

Her husband, Alvin Pelock Young, precedes her in death; parents, Ewell and Eva Bertrand; and son in law Russell Bertrand.

aligncenter The family request that visiting hours be observed at Ardoins Funeral Home Chapel in Basile November 6, 2007 from 10:00 am until 10:00 pm and on Wednesday from 8:00 am until time of services. A rosary will be recited at 7pm Tuesday evening..
