EUNICE~It is with heavy hearts that the family of Harry Lee Ledoux announces his passing on Tuesday, July 27, 2021, at his home with loving family by his side at the age of 91. A Celebration of Life will be celebrated at 11:30 am on Thursday, July 29, 2021, at Ardoin’s Funeral Home in Eunice. Burial will follow in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery with Deacon Chuck Ortego, officiating.
Harry was a proud veteran of the United States Army. He worked at Cleco for 42 years. During his employment he worked as a lineman, supervisor, and then retired as a Right of Way supervisor. Harry had a passion for hunting and enjoyed welding and working on his projects. After retiring, he and Lottie loved traveling. Harry was a loving father who passed his values onto his children and grandchildren. He will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved him, especially his children, Carol Ledoux Williams and husband, Randy of Lafayette and Harry Ledoux, Jr. and wife, Alicia of Houston, TX; sister, Nora Pickle of Welsh; two grandchildren, Steven Williams and wife, Amy and Ross Williams; one great granddaughter, Brooklyn Paige Benoit; his loving and compassionate caregiver, Virgie Tate; as well as extended family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 66 years, Lottie Aguillard Ledoux; parents, Eugene and Laura Comeaux Ledoux; stepmother, Doris Brown Ledoux; siblings, Rhinus and Elzia Ledoux, Sophia Garcia, Betty Casillas, and Joyce Ferraro.
At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoin’s Funeral Home in Eunice on Thursday, July 29th from 9:00 am until time of services.
