Irene Brandt

EUNICEA wonderful mother, sister and friend, Irene S. Brandt will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Irene died peacefully on Sunday, February 12, 2012 at Abbeville General Hospital at the age of 81.

Irene was a homemaker and devoted her life to the care of her family. She enjoyed going to church, crocheting and loved working in her yard. She will be sadly missed by her daughter, Margo Brandt of Abbeville a brother, Chesley Soileau of Carencro and a sister, Hazzie Soileau of Eunice.

She is preceded in death by her husband, W.T. Brandt Jr. a son, Roger Brandt and her parents, Florence and Eva Naquin Soileau.

The family would like to express great appreciation for the care and thoughtfulness of Eastridge Nursing Home and many thanks to the kind, loving and special caregiver, Chastity Ardoin.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date and time.
