EUNICE~It is with heavy hearts that the family of Irene Bordelon Reed announces her passing on Wednesday, September 21, 2016 at Acadian Medical Center at the age of 98. A Celebration of Life will be celebrated at 3:00 pm at Ardoin's Funeral Home Chapel in Eunice on Thursday, September 22, 2016. Entombment will follow in the St. Paul Mausoleum with Deacon David Guillory officiating.

Irene was a homemaker and will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved her especially her brother, Roland Bordelon of Eunice as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Reed; parents, Albert and Emma LeDoux Bordelon; brothers, Jesse and Frank Bordelon ; sisters, Hilda Swenson and Gertrude Sensenbrenner.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoin's Funeral Home in Eunice on Wednesday, September 21st from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm and again on Thursday, September 22nd from 8:00 am until time of services. Deacon David Guillory will recite a Rosary at 7:00 pm Thursday.
