Eunice- Funeral services for Mrs. Isabelle Fontenot will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, July 03, 2006, at St. Thomas More Catholic Church. Burial will follow in the St. Paul Mausoleum with Fr. Cedric Sonnier officiating.

Mrs. Fontenot, age 80, and a resident of Eunice, LA., died on Sunday, July 02, 2006, at 5:20 a.m. at the Acadian Medical Center. She worked for over 20 years serving the children as a cafeteria worker.

Mrs. Fontenot was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Jack Deason.

Survivors include her husband, Horace Fontenot of Eunice, LA; two daughters, Mary Deason of Dequincy, LA, Bobbie Power and husband, Frank of Liberty, Miss; a brother, Gene Duplechain and wife, Audrey, of Eunice, LA; a sister, Louella Duplechain of Eunice, LA; 3 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

The visitation will be held at the Ardoins Funeral Home beginning on Sunday, July 02, 2006, from 4:30 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. and again on Monday, July 03, 2006, from 8:00 a.m. until time of services. A rosary will be prayed Sunday evening.
