EUNICE-A Mass of Christian Burial for James Deaton Fruge, 56, will be Celebrated at St. Thomas More Catholic Church at 11:00 am on Thursday, June 26, 2008. Interment to follow in the St. Paul Cemetery with The Reverend Father John Pullumarikuvel and Deacon David Guillory Celebrant.

Deaton, a resident of Eunice who enjoyed fishing, hunting and football, passed away on Monday, June 23, 2008 at the Acadian Medical Center.

A Loving Father, Son, Brother, and Grandfather he is survived by his parents, James O. and Clara M. Fruge; two sons, Byron Layne Fruge and Lance O. Fruge, both of Eunice; one daughter, Jamie Marie Fruge Haristy and husband, Wayne, of Eunice; two sisters, Nancy Fruge Ryder of Eunice and Dianna Fruge of Fort White, FL; two grandchildren, Kieran Emilia Fruge and Giannie Maree Fruge.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed on Wednesday, June 25, 2008 at Ardoins Funeral Home in Eunice from 10:00 am until 9:00 pm and again on Thursday, June 26, 2008 from 8:00 am until time of services. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm Wednesday evening.
