James Mury

EUNICE-It is with heavy hearts that the family of James Patrick Mury announces his passing on Friday, March 25, 2016 at his home surrounded by his loved ones at the age of 66. At the request of the family, a private Memorial Service will be celebrated at a later time.

James enjoyed fishing, camping, hunting, and collecting guns. He especially enjoyed family gatherings and will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved him especially his wife of 36 years, Sharon Mury of Eunice; two sons, Alan Mury of Texas, and Jeffery Mury and wife, Lori of Eunice; two daughters, Nancy Bickman and husband, Alvin, and Carrie Rose and husband, Ronnie of Texas; sister, Theresa of Syracuse, NY; eight grandchildren, Michael House and wife, Charis, Kaysee Lejeune and husband, Eric, Amber Baker, Austin Wells, Emily Sheppard, Louis McCall, Kristen Duncan, and Breezy Bickham; and fourteen great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Dorothy Wood Mury; and sister, Betty Rybecky.
