James Wallace Thibodeaux

IOTA- It is with heavy hearts that the family of James Wallace Thibodeaux announces his passing on Wednesday, May 14, 2025, at his home at the age of 76. At James’ request, there will be no services.

James was born on December 20,1948, to the late Leo and Marie Quibodeaux Thibodeaux. He lived a simple life and enjoyed reading and fishing, as well as playing pool and watching Westerns.

James will be missed by all who knew and loved him, especially his children, Chris Thibodeaux and wife, Paula of Iota, Angela L. Thibodeaux of Lake Charles, Tia Marie Thibodeaux Grant and wife, Alina of Sulphur; step-daughter, Merissa LeDoux of Arnaudville; brother, Leo P. Thibodeaux and companion, Nancy of Henderson, TX; sister, Marie C. Brown and husband, Dave of Industry, TX; grandchildren, Isabell Sullivan, Austin Thibodeaux, Gavin Richard, Tanner Richard, and Kylie Parr; step-grandchildren, Marygayle Henry and Travis Henry; one great grandchild and one on the way; as well as extended family and friends.

James is preceded in death by his wife, Anita “P-Nut” Prejean Thibodeaux; his parents; son, Jimmy Thibodeaux; brother, Warren Lee Thibodeaux; and sisters, Shirley Ann Clifton and Theresa Janice Moller.
