EUNICE~It is with heavy hearts that the family of Jamie Ryan Pelsia announces his passing on Tuesday, October 27, 2020 at the Christus Good Shepherd Medical Center in Longview, TX at the age of 37. Words of Remembrance will be held at 1:00 pm followed by a Celebration of Life at 2:00 pm on Friday, October 30, 2020 at the Ardoin’s Funeral Home Chapel in Eunice. Burial will follow in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery with Father Gil Dutel officiating.

Jamie enjoyed fishing and cooking, but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his two precious children. He was the biggest Saints fan and was a mullet enthusiast. Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Sherry Pelsia of Henderson, TX; children, Milo Jamison Pelsia and Shelby Ryan Pelsia, also of Henderson, TX; step-mother and step-father, Marie and Frank Brazzel of Ville Platte; uncle, Murry Fall of Lawtell; brothers, Kerrie Pelsia and spouse, Randal of Gueydan, Brice Fontenot and wife, Stephanie of Youngsville, and James Fontenot and wife, Leslie of Whitehouse, TX; sisters, Amie McDonald and fiancé, Brett Stovall of Ore City, TX, Stacie Jackson and husband, Damien of Lafayette, Kylie Cortez and husband, Roger of Basile, and Seanna Unterburger and husband, Robert of Lafayette; as well as nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Deborah Pelsia; maternal grandparents, Henry and Dora Pelsia, and Blaise and Bernardine Leonards; niece, Elenora Ann Jackson; and aunt, JoEllen Fall.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoin’s Funeral Home in Eunice on Friday, October 30th from 8:00 am until time of services.

In lieu of flowers, monetary donations may be made to the family.
