Jann H. Hebert

EUNICE~ It is with heavy hearts that the family of Jann H. Hebert announces her passing on Sunday, May 25, 2025, at her home at the age of 69. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:00 pm on Saturday, May 31, 2025, at the St. Anthony Catholic Church in Eunice. Burial will follow in the St. Paul Mausoleum with Father Hampton Davis, Celebrant.

Jann was born on May 23, 1956, in Eunice, La., to the late John and Dorothy Jane Young Huckaby, Sr. She enjoyed spending time in her prayer garden, but her greatest love was for her grandchildren, who were the light of her life.

Jann will be missed by all who knew and loved her, especially her children, Christopher Hebert Sr. and companion, Marta of Albuquerque, NM, Patrick Hebert and wife, Dianna of Sugartown, Brian Hebert and wife, Summer of Eunice, and Amy Hebert Labbe and husband, Jody of Eunice; her brothers, Jude Huckaby and wife, Rhoda of Eunice, Jason Huckaby and husband, Michael, Jonathan Huckaby and husband, Wallace of Kingwood, TX, Jody Huckaby of Hawaii, and John Huckaby, Jr. and husband, Kuan of Houston, Tx; her sisters, Sister Joan Manuel of St. Amant and Janie Huckaby of Eunice; the father of her children, Belvon Joseph Hebert of Eunice; her grandchildren, Christopher Hebert, Jr., Regina Lynn Hebert, Montana Labbe, Alexia Labbe, Abbgail David, Caleb David, Adriana Labbe, Jacob Dunegan, Devyn Dunegan, Joseph Dunegan, British Hebert, Mia Hebert, Kaden Gibbs and Kolton Hebert; as well as extended family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, as well as three grandchildren, Stacey Joseph Hebert, Amber Renee’ Thomas, and Brynan Hebert.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoin’s Funeral Home in Eunice on Friday, May 30, 2025, from 3:00 pm until 10:00 pm, and again on Saturday, May 31, 2025, from 8:00 am until time of services. A rosary will be prayed at 6:00 pm on Friday.
