Jayden Cash Breaux, a cherished son, brother, and grandson, passed away unexpectedly on October 1, 2025, at the age of fifteen. Born on March 9, 2010, in Opelousas, Louisiana, Jayden was a bright light in the lives of those who knew him. He was a dedicated student at Eunice High School, where his passion for learning shone through, particularly in honors math, a testament to his intellect. Jayden’s creativity and talent were evident in his love for art and his masterful skills as a Lego builder.
Among his proudest accomplishments, he stood tall as the tallest in his family. He was known for his quiet demeanor, but his contagious smile had the remarkable ability to uplift everyone around him. A kind-hearted spirit, Jayden cherished the moments spent with his family. He enjoyed A&W root beer on family movie nights, liked reading, and often helped his mother bake and decorate Christmas cookies. He had a special fondness for sushi and had a playful interest in crafting his own Pokémon cards. His love for bowling and affection for cats painted a picture of a boy who embraced life with open arms.
Jayden also shared beautiful moments with his siblings, teaching his little brother how to tie his shoes and bonding with his littlest brother through games of bay blades. His strong family values and depth of character shone brightly in every interaction, and his absence will be profoundly felt.
He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Kimberly and Brock Daigle of Branch; his brothers, Jackson and Baylor of Branch; and his grandfather, Richard Doucet of Church Point. Jayden was preceded in death by his beloved grandmother, Barbara Doucet, who held a special place in his heart.
The services to honor Jayden's life will be held at Ardoin's Funeral Home in Eunice. Visitation will take place on Friday, October 3, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM, and continue on Saturday, October 4 from 9:00 AM until the funeral service at 12:00 PM, which will be followed by a burial at St. Bridget's Catholic Church cemetery in Lawtell with Pastor Micah Granger and Weston Weaver officiating.
As we remember Jayden Cash Breaux, let us hold tight to the memories he created and the love he shared with his family and friends. His legacy will forever remain in our hearts.
