EUNICE-Funeral services for Mr. Jesse J.R. Robert Jones, Jr. will be held at 3:00 p.m. at First United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in the St. Louis Cemetery with The Rev. Truman Stagg officiating.

Mr. Jones, age 75, a resident of Eunice, died on Sunday, September 10, 2006, at his resident. He was a 50 year 3rd degree Mason with The Eunice Harmon Lodge 410. Preceded in death by his parents Jesse and Elizabeth Prescott Jones; a son, Jimmy Jones; a daughter, Beth Jones Aguillard and five brothers.

The visitation will be held on Sunday, September 10, 2006, from 6:00 pm until 10:00 pm and again on Monday, September 11, 2006, from 8:00 am till time of services.
Survivors include his wife, Phyllis Sanders Jones of Eunice,; a son, Jesse Robert Jones, III, of Eunice; a daughter, DAun Bennett and husband, Steve of Shongaloo, LA; a brother, Elroy Jones of Eunice; two sisters, Henrietta Laughlan of Eunice, Bessie Gourney and husband, Harold of Eunice; 4 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
