IOTA-It is with heavy hearts that the family of Joshua Drake Louviere announces his passing on Thursday, September 1, 2022, at the Jennings American Legion Hospital at the age of 29. A Celebration of Life will be celebrated at 2:00 pm on Sunday, September 4, 2022, at Ardoin’s Funeral Home in Iota. Burial will follow in the Iota City Cemetery with Pastor Robert Kratzer officiating.

Joshua enjoyed life and loved anything outdoors, especially fishing and hunting. He will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved him, especially his mother, Belinda Myers and husband, Feliciano of Iota; his son, Bailey Louviere of Iota; sisters, Allison Louviere of Lake Arthur, Kaidyn Bautista of Iota, Valerie Louviere of Lake Arthur, and Laikyn Miller of Iota; paternal grandfather, Pappy Louviere and wife, Rose of Jennings; paternal grandmother, Barbara Louviere of Iota; maternal grandfather, Robert Myers and wife, Cathy of Church Point; maternal step-grandfather, Terrell Deshotel of Iota; as well as extended family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his father, Herbie Don Louviere and maternal grandmother, Corrine Deshotel.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoin’s Funeral Home in Iota on Sunday, September 4th from 9:00 am until time of services at 2:00 pm.
