EUNICE~It is with heavy hearts that the family of Katina Marie Carriere announces her passing on Friday, July 31, 2026, at her home in Eunice at the age of 61. A Celebration of Life will be held at 12:00 pm on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, at Ardoin’s Funeral Home Chapel in Eunice.

Katina was born on December 5, 1964, in Eunice, Louisiana, to the late Rufus and Mary Mable Jagneaux Moreau. She was the owner of Uniquely Charming in Eunice, enjoyed shopping, and loved Elvis. Most importantly, she loved taking care of her grandbabies and all her family’s babies, often referring to them as, “Her babies.”

A loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend, Katina will be missed by all who knew and loved her, especially her husband of forty-five years, Harold “Butch” Carriere of Eunice; her sons, Joshua D. Carriere and wife, Brandy of Denham Springs and Lukas Carriere of Livingston, TX; her daughters, Misty Brea’ Credeur and husband, Blake of Eunice and Kylie Jo Stanley and husband, Ryan Stanley, Sr. of Eunice; brother, Russell Moreau; sisters, Debra Sue Brown of Lafayette and Diana Kay Leger of Eunice; her grandchildren, Hudson Carriere, Jasmin Jade Carriere, Christopher Dwayne Carriere, Gavin Credeur, Julian Credeur, Payton Credeur, Wyatt Credeur, Ryan Kade Stanley, Jr., Sidney Joseph Stanley, Olivia Grace Stanley, and one on the way, Elena Marie Stanley; as well as extended family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Shirley "Jimmy" Moreau.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoin’s Funeral Home in Eunice on Tuesday, August 4th from 2:00 pm, all night, until time of services on Wednesday, August 5th at Ardoin’s Funeral Home Chapel.
