EUNICEIt is with heavy hearts and great sadness that the family of Kody Todd Fontenot announces his passing on Wednesday, January 08, 2014 at the age of 32. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 1:30 pm on Saturday, January 11, 2014 at St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Eunice. Rite of Committal will follow in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery with Father Sensat Celebrant.

Kody was a Registered Nurse at Our Lady of Lourdes and Abrom Kaplan Hospital. He loved to hunt, deep water fish, travel, made home hobby projects, his tractor, yard maintenance and his dogs but most of all he loved his family especially his wife, Kim Fontenot his parents, Kenneth and Debbie Fontenot his brother, Kory Fontenot and wife, Misty his sister, Katy Fontenot and her son, Payton Fontenot all of Eunice. He will be deeply missed by his paternal grandmother, Vernice Babineaux and maternal grandparents, Eldridge and Ethel LeJeune all of Eunice his inlaws, Joe and Janette Fontenot and their children, Brittany Fontenot and her son, Owen Thibodeaux, Sarah and Dylan Fontenot all of Eunice.

He is preceded in death by his beloved grandfather, C.J. Babineaux.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home in Eunice on Friday, January 10th from 2:00 pm until time of service on Saturday. Deacon David Guillory will recite a Rosary at 7:00 pm Friday evening.
