IOTA~ It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that the family of Kyle Anthony Leger announce the unexpected passing of our beloved father, son, fiancé’, grandson, brother and friend, Kyle Anthony Leger on Tuesday, November 02, 2021, at the age of 26. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Monday, November 08, 2021, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Iota.

Kyle was born in Eunice on July 01, 1995 and was a 2013 graduate of Iota High School. He was a cattle farmer and a construction worker. He was always working on his ford truck and always fixing something. He enjoyed cooking and his favorite meals to cook was bar-b-que chicken, gumbo and boiling spicy crawfish till your eyes would cry. But most importantly he loved his kids, and they were number one to him. He will be forever remembered by his loving four children, Hagen Cole Leger, Kase Anthony Leger, Madden David Leger and Henley Faye Leger all of Port Barre; his mother and father, Amanda LaHaye Daigle and Jared Daigle of Iota; his two brothers, Bryce Allen Leger of Iota and Matthew Leger, Jr of CA; his three sisters, Morgan Blair Mitchell and husband Ian of Temple, TX; Shelby Leger  and Hannah Leger both of Iota; fiancé’, Traci Fontenot of Port Barre; maternal grandparents, David LaHaye of Leonville and Sandra Marie LaHaye of Iota; paternal grandfather, Michael Daigle of Sulphur and grandmother, Charlotte Sigle of Iota; his niece, Bella Grace Mitchell of Temple, TX; as well as extended family and dear friends.

He is preceded in death by his father, Matthew John Leger and paternal grandparents, Jessie and Cam Leger.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoin’s Funeral Home in Iota on Sunday, November 7th from 4:00pm until 9:00 pm and again on Monday, November 8th from 8:00 am until time of services. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm on Sunday.
