EUNICE~It is with great sadness that the family of Laurrie "Lottie" Babineaux announces her passing on Thursday, April 21, 2016 at Eunice Manor at the age of 86. A Celebration of Life will be celebrated at 2:00 pm on Friday, April 22, 2016 at Ardoin's Funeral Home in Eunice. Entombment will follow in the St. Paul Mausoleum with Father Wayne Duet officiating.

Laurrie known as "Lottie" to all who knew her loved to fish and dance. She was a part of the Nifty Fifty's dance team. She enjoyed oil painting, sewing, crochet, gardening and crafts. She will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved her especially her son, Luther Miller of Richard; two daughters, Doreen Miller and husband, Chester Wimberley of Eunice and Pamela Jackson and husband, Kenneth of Lake Charles; a brother, Shelton Babineaux of Lake Charles; sister, Agnes Miller of Indian Village; step sister, Lucy Fontenot and sister-in-law Mechico Ardoin both of Lake Charles; special family friend, Rosa Miller of Richard; five grandchildren, Angela Comeaux, Susan Tabbytosavit, Shelley Miller, Cindy Miller and Lucas Miller; fourteen great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Anastasia Lavergne Babineaux; a son, Russell P. Miller; brother, C.J. Babineaux and a step brother, Burnell Ardoin.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoin's Funeral Home in Eunice on Friday, April 22nd from 9:00 am until time of services. Deacon David Guillory will recite a Rosary at 11:00 am Friday morning.
