EUNICE-A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated on Monday, April 27, 2009 at 2:00 pm at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Eunice for Lillie Cormier Bellow, who passed away on Friday, April 24, 2009 at Dauterive Hospital in New Iberia at the age of 80. Rite of Committal will follow in the St. Paul Mausoleum with Father Tom Voorhies officiating.

Lillie will be remembered as one who enjoyed gardening and loved to cook. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She touched the heart and soul of everyone she met. She was a devoted mother and grandmother who will be lovingly remembered by her two sons, Lloyd Bellow of San Francisco, CA and Philip Bellow and wife, Rochelle of Wooster, OH; her daughter, Lisa B. Seneca and husband, James of New Iberia; her two sisters, Theresa Fall of Orange, TX and Gussie Smith of Opelousas; and her five loving grandchildren, Stuart Bellow, Grace Bellow, Maureen Bellow, Celeste Manuel, and Caroline Seneca.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Leo Bellow; her parents, Theodule and Martha Andrepont Cormier; and a brother, Joseph Rodgers Cormier.

The family request that visiting hours be observed on Sunday, April 26, 2009 at Ardoins Funeral Home in Eunice from 2:00 pm until 9:00 pm and again on Monday, April 27, 2009 from 8:00 am until time of services. A Rosary will be recited at 6:00 pm Sunday evening.
