Logan Young

EUNICE On Thursday, June 30, 2022, Logan Young, father, brother, grandfather and friend passed away suddenly at the age of 77 years. A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, July 02, 2022 at Ardoin’s Funeral Home Chapel in Eunice. Burial will follow in St. Paul Cemetery with Father Hampton Davis, officiating.

Logan was born in Eunice on August 21, 1944 to William J. and Mildred Richame Young. He was a retired oilfield consultant who enjoyed riding motorcycles and traveling.  He loved spending time with his family and friends. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him especially his three sons, Brian Young and wife, Debbie Morales of Mandeville, Daniel Young and wife, Holly Reed of Eunice and Tracy Young and wife, Wendy Huckaby of Youngsville: siblings, KayLee Y. Durham of Spring, TX, Kirtley Young and wife, Maria of Eunice, Bernadette Y. Ralston of Kenner, Faith Ann Millington of Cypress, TX. The seven joys of his life his grandchildren, Cassie, Stephen, Ashley, Seth, Taylor, Shelby and Noah; five great grandchildren, Payton, Reagan, Gavin, Parker and Zane; as well as extended family and many dear friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, Ethel Fontenot Young; son Jody Anthony Young; siblings, Russell Young, Maggie Babineaux and Irving Young.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held on Saturday, July 2nd from 9:00 am until time of services.
