EUNICE-Lois Lewis passed away on Friday, August 11, 2017 at home with her family by her side. She was 97. A Celebration of Life will be held at 3:00 pm on Sunday, August 13, 2017 at the Ardoin's Funeral Home Chapel in Eunice. Burial will follow in the St. Paul Cemetery with Father Matthew Hebert Celebrant.

Lois retired from St. Landry Bank after many years of service. She will be missed by all, especially her sister, Rita Lewis Manuel of Eunice; nieces, Rosalind Street of Eunice, Tiffany Lewis of Lake Charles, Lorna Marsh and husband, Dale of Arlington, TX, Marie Fay of Eunice, Linda Pagels and husband, Mark of Albuquerque, NM, Janet Lewis of Gonzales, CA, and Bonnie Voinche and husband, Tom of Lafayette; nephews, Ralph Stivison and wife, Janice of Houston, TX, Lowell Stivison and wife, Priscilla of Bedford, TX, and John B. Lewis, III and wife, Michelle of Denver, CO; great nieces, Adrienne Lejeune and husband, Drake of Eunice, Cassie Smith of Lake Charles, and Kathleen Fay of Eunice; great nephews, Brian Rozas and wife, Sarah of Opelousas, Andrew Rozas of Eunice, and Tommy Fay and wife, Gena of New Orleans; great-great nieces, Callie Ann Rozas and Daviny Domingue; great-great nephews, Devin and Karson Lejeune; as well as many other great nieces, great nephews, great-great nieces, great-great nephews; extended family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, John B. and Lois Wilson Lewis; brothers, Kenneth J. Lewis and J.B. "Butch" Lewis, Jr.; sister, Catherine L. Stivison; and niece, Catherine R. Stivison.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoin's Funeral Home in Eunice on Sunday, August 13th from 11:30 am until time of services. Deacon Gary Gaudin will recite a Rosary at 2:30 pm Sunday.

The family would like to extend a special thanks you LA Hospice and Palliative Care and to her two caregivers, Carlene and Courtney Deaville for all of their love and support.
