EUNICE~It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of Lois Aguillard Tyson announces her passing on Saturday, March 10, 2018 in the comfort of her home at the age of 89. A Celebration of Life will be celebrated at 10:00 am on Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at Ardoin's Funeral Home Chapel in Eunice. Burial will follow in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery with Rev Tim Moffett officiating.

Lois was a legal secretary for Burson Law Office for fifty three years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church and served as Church Treasurer. She will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved her especially her sister, Mary Ann A. Sonnier of Eunice and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Youree Tyson; parents; Rene and Essie Fontenot Aguillard; brothers, Roland and Rodgers Aguillard; sisters, Verna Labry, Lou LeJeune, Ethel Moreau and Lottie Ledoux.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoin's Funeral Home in Eunice on Tuesday, March 13th from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm and again on Wednesday, March 14th from 8:00 am until time of services.
