EUNICE-Funeral services for Mrs. Louella F. Manuel will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, August 16, 2006, at St. Anthonys Catholic Church. Burial will follow in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery with Father Tom Voorhies officiating.

Mrs. Manuel, age 81, a resident of Eunice, LA, died Tuesday, August 15, 2006, at 5:25 p.m. at Acadian Medical Center in Eunice, LA. She was a retired telephone operator. Mrs. Manuel will be sadly missed by her family and friends.

The visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 16, 2006, from 10:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. and again on Thursday, August, 17, 2006, from 7:00 a.m. until time of services. A rosary will be prayed Wednesday evening at 7:00 pm.

Mrs. Manuel is preceded in death by her husband, Louis J. L.J. Manuel; son, Robert C. Manuel; parents, Savan Azeline Fuselier; 4 brothers, Sadie Fuselier, Rodney Bolo Fuselier, Charles C. Fuselier , J.C. Fuselier; 3 sisters, Vela F. Foret, Esther Dupre and Willie Mae Fuselier.

Survivors include her two granddaughters, Holly Joy Venezia of Eunice, LA., Brandie Jill Young of Eunice, LA; two great-granddaughters, Ariel Arnaud of Eunice, LA., Abigail Young of Eunice,LA; two great-grandsons, Lex Arnaud of Eunice, LA., Nicholas Young of Eunice, LA., and numerous nieces and nephews.
