EUNICE~It is with great sadness that the family of Lucille M. Matt announces her passing on the morning of Wednesday, June 17, 2015 at Oaklane Wellness and Rehabilitation Center with loving family by her side at the age of 97. A Celebration of Life will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Friday, June 19, 2015 at Ardoin's Funeral Home Chapel in Eunice. Burial will follow in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery with Msgr. Robert Romero officiating.

Lucille was a past member of the Ladies Altar Society as well as a member of The Quilting Bee. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother and friend and will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved her especially her son, Willard Ray Matt and wife, Francil of Eunice and a daughter, Jeanette M. Johnson and husband, Loicy of Eunice; eight grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Willis H. Matt; her parents, Vilian and Doris Molitar Manuel; two sisters, Vivian Molitar and Tillie Manuel.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoin's Funeral Home in Eunice on Friday, June 19th from 9:00 am until time of services. A Rosary will be recited at 10:15 am Friday morning.
