EUNICE~It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that the family of Ludie Blanchard White announces her passing on Friday, July 17, 2015 in her home at the age of 90. A Celebration of Life will be celebrated at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, July 21, 2015 at Ardoin's Funeral Home Chapel in Eunice. Entombment will follow in the St. Paul Mausoleum with Deacon David Guillory officiating.

Ludie was a waitress at many local restaurants including the old Pelican, Rosevelt and the Chatterbox. She was a loving mother, sister and friend and will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved her especially her son, Lynsey Ray White and wife, Kay of Rowlett, TX; her three brothers, Melvie Blanchard and wife, Shirley of Baton Rouge, Clinton Blanchard and wife, Bertha and Shelton Blanchard and wife, Peggy all of Houston, TX; eleven grandchildren, three great grandchildren and one great grandchild; as well as extended family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Edgar Ray White and her parents, Eddie and Melda Marie Thibodeaux Blanchard.

At the request of the family visitation will be held at Ardoin's Funeral Home in Eunice on Tuesday, July 21st from 9:00 am until time of services
